About Katie Viscontini
The daughter of an Ironman mom and a Boston Marathoner dad, Katie grew up with fitness in her DNA. Though she played sports through high school and was active throughout her early adulthood, she didn't catch the bug for real strength training until her mid 30s. Then in March 2024, Katie found Tower Fitness, and the weight lifting addiction became full-blown.
Now she's on the other side of the barbell - coaching, building community, and launching Strong Moms, a class she's deeply passionate about. Katie knows firsthand how hard it is for moms to prioritize fitness. Childcare is expensive. Time is limited. Your body feels different postpartum. Strong Moms removes those barriers: bring your kids, get a real workout, and rebuild strength in a way that understands what your body's been through.
Katie's trained in postpartum fitness methodologies and focuses on rehabilitating the deep core, pelvic floor, and core stabilizing muscles, the foundation that makes everything else possible. Whether you're 6 weeks postpartum or 6 years out, she'll meet you where you are and help you get stronger safely. She is also CrossFit L1 certified and pursuing additional certifications.
With a professional background in marketing, copywriting, & office administration, Katie loves working to spread the news about this incredible, welcoming, and inclusive gym community. (Fun fact: Katie was also a professional musical theatre actor for over a decade and has her MFA in Acting.... showtunes WOD, anyone??)
