The Murph Challenge
Honor the fallen. Push your limits. Join us for one of the most famous workouts in fitness — a Memorial Day tradition that means something.
In Honor Of Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy
"The Murph" is performed every Memorial Day in honor of Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005.
Lt. Murphy was known to perform this workout wearing a 20 lb vest, which he called "Body Armor." He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions during Operation Red Wings.
Every year, athletes around the world honor his sacrifice by completing this benchmark workout. At Tower Fitness, we carry on that tradition — and we welcome everyone, regardless of fitness level, to be part of it.
